Available Services

Individual,  Couples & Family Counseling

We provide treatment for emotional and behavioral concerns including but not limited to: trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship issues, and grief.
We use a variety of techniques that are holistic and individualized to our clients' needs.
We have clinicians who specialize in working with first responders, couples, and other various specialties. 

Group Therapy & Support Groups

 Currently we facilitate support groups via telehealth including monthly pregnancy and infant loss support groups, birth trauma, and mother's support groups in partnership with Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Other therapy, support, or wellness groups can be facilitated upon request.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

We have EMDR trained therapists and utilize EMDR protocols in combination with other treatment modalities when working with clients who have experienced trauma, and other behavioral health concerns. We are trauma-informed and use evidence-based models for treating trauma.

Consultation

We provide various types of consultation services including, but not limited to: 

  • first responder organization wellness department development

  • clinicians preparing to go into the private practice sector

  • companies and organizations seeking to provide mental health and wellness resources and programs for their employees

  • supervision for clinicians seeking licensure

  • group private practice paunch packet available for purchase

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)

We have employees and clinicians trained in individual and group  Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) techniques and protocol and can provide clinical oversight, individual crisis intervention, and CISM debriefings in group settings upon request.
ACC's owner is an Approved Instructor for the ICISF CISM Curriculum for both Individual and Group Crisis and can provide ICISF CISM trainings upon request.

Training/Education

We have extensive experience providing instruction/training/education. We have combined decades of experience in the education field developing and instructing curriculum and courses on various behavioral health topics. Our clinicians have experience teaching at Alaska Pacific University,  Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium's Behavioral Health Aide Training Center, and the University of Alaska Anchorage.
ACC clinicians provide trainings, classes, and presentations across Alaska in- person or via distance upon request.
