Available Services

Individual,  Couples & Family Counseling

We provide treatment for emotional and behavioral concerns including but not limited to: trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship issues, and grief.
We use a variety of techniques that are holistic and individualized to our clients' needs.
We have clinicians who specialize in working with first responders, couples, and other various specialties. 

Group Therapy & Support Groups

Our clinicians facilitate groups upon request. Currently Teri provides groups via distance including monthly pregnancy and infant loss support groups, birth trauma, and mother's support groups in partnership with Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Teri is trained in Advanced Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) techniques and protocol and can provide CISM debriefings in group settings upon request.

Responder Strong mental health curriculum training available upon request.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

We have EMDR trained therapists and utilize EMDR protocols in combination with other treatment modalities when working with clients who have experienced trauma, and other behavioral health concerns. We are trauma-informed and use evidence-based models for treating trauma.

Consultation

Teri provides various types of consultation services including, but not limited to: 
-clinicians preparing to go into the private practice sector
-companies and organizations seeking to provide mental health and wellness resources and programs for their employees
-supervision for clinicians seeking licensure

Grief Counseling

Our clinicians are experienced in working with grief/loss. Teri is certified in the Grief Recovery Method and has advanced training in working with families who have experienced loss, including pregnancy and infant loss. 

Training/Education

Our clinicians have extensive experience providing instruction/training/education. They have combined decades of experience in the education field developing and instructing curriculum and courses on various behavioral health topics. Teri has taught classes at Alaska Pacific University and currently teaches full time for the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium's Behavioral Health Aide Training Center.

Teri is an Approved Instructor for the ICISF CISM Curriculum for both Individual and Group Crisis.

ACC clinicians provide trainings, classes, and presentations across Alaska in- person or via distance upon request.
